By submitting an application to The Global 60 and (if admitted) completing payment, you agree to the terms below. These are intentionally short and written in plain language. If anything is unclear, write to info@youthimpacts.com.
1. The contract
A binding contract is formed when Youth Impacts confirms your seat by successful payment of The Global 60 fee following an offer of admission. The contract is between Youth Impacts International (the "organiser") and the named delegate (the "delegate"). For delegates under 18, a parent or guardian must agree to these terms on the delegate's behalf.
2. Tiers
| Tier | Price (USD) | Includes |
|---|---|---|
| Delegate | $2,999 | Three nights at the delegate hotel (shared twin room), the full programme, transfers on arrival and departure and with the cohort between venues, all meals from the Thursday reception to the Sunday brunch, the planned United Nations Headquarters visit, the delegate kit, portraits and the recorded address, and the Global 60 Network |
| Delegate, Private | $3,999 | Above, with a private room, a seat at the guest speakers' table at the welcome dinner, and one guest seat at the gala |
| Delegate, Excellency | $4,999 | Above, with private-car arrivals and departures, the Manhattan helicopter flight and a limousine tour of New York by night (each subject to availability, weather and parental consent), the head table at the gala with two guest seats, a private breakfast with the founder and guest speakers, and the Excellency kit |
Flights, visas, personal insurance and personal spending are not included. The academic programme is identical on every tier; no tier affects country assignment, speaking time, committee role, awards or recognition. Where an included activity (for example the helicopter flight or the limousine tour on the Delegate, Excellency tier) cannot run for weather, safety, availability or operator reasons, we will provide a substitute activity; no partial refund applies. The guided visit to United Nations Headquarters is planned subject to availability and UN security requirements; if it cannot take place, a substitute New York programme element is provided and no partial refund applies.
3. Refund schedule
| If you cancel… | You receive |
|---|---|
| Within 14 days of payment (UK/EU cooling-off) | 100% refund, no questions |
| More than 60 days before the conference (on or before 21 February 2027; the conference begins 22 April 2027) | 75% refund |
| 14–60 days before the conference (22 February – 8 April 2027) | 50% refund |
| 13 days or fewer before the conference (from 9 April 2027) | No refund except documented exceptional circumstances (medical, bereavement, visa refusal — see section 4) |
Refund requests must be made by email to info@youthimpacts.com. Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe within 5–10 business days.
4. Exceptional circumstances
If you must cancel within 13 days of the conference due to documented illness, bereavement of an immediate family member, or visa refusal, we will refund 75% of your fee on presentation of supporting documentation. Decisions are made at our reasonable discretion.
5. If we cancel
If Youth Impacts cancels or substantially changes the dates of the conference for reasons within our control, you receive a full refund. If cancellation is due to events outside our reasonable control (extreme weather, public-health restrictions, venue unavailability), we will offer the choice of (a) a full refund of fees paid to us, or (b) a credit valid for the next edition of The Global 60. We are not liable for incidental costs (flights, separately-booked hotels, visa fees).
6. Travel, visas, insurance
Delegates are responsible for their own visas, travel, and personal insurance. We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation. We will issue a letter of invitation for visa applications upon written request after payment is confirmed.
7. Code of conduct
Delegates are expected to behave respectfully toward one another, chairs, staff, guest speakers, venue staff and guests. Discrimination, harassment, any consumption of alcohol by underage delegates, breaches of curfew, and unauthorised press are grounds for immediate removal from the conference without refund. Membership of the Global 60 Network may be withdrawn for serious breaches. Delegates under 18 are subject to a nightly curfew and room check and must not leave the hotel unaccompanied.
8. Photography & media
By attending, you grant Youth Impacts the right to take and use photographs and video of the conference for promotional purposes. Your personal portraits and recorded address are yours to keep and share. Families sign a separate photography consent after admission; delegates who opt out are excluded from published material wherever reasonably possible.
9. Limitation of liability
Our liability for any single claim is limited to the fee you paid. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud — as required by applicable law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, USA. For consumers ordinarily resident in the UK or EU, mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country still apply.
11. Independence
The Global 60 and Youth Impacts are independent programmes and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the United Nations or any hotel, venue or university unless explicitly stated in writing.
12. Changes
If we change these terms in a way that materially affects rights you have already paid for, we will email you and offer a refund window if you do not accept the changes.
